The problem is that the AA functionality in QT depends on a new extension to
the X protocol, called X-Render. You need XFree86 4 to get X-Render. I
realize that upgrading XFree86 on my box will do nothing -- I was wondering
if it would be possible to upgrade the version of XFree86 that's used in
Xvnc. But after taking a brief look, it's clear that's way beyond my
ability.
Right now I'm looking at x0rfbserver -- I don't know if that will work or
not, there isn't much documentation.
