Sounds like you have not installed the vncPatches that comes with ChromiVNC.
This should go in your Extensions folder, and then restart.
It's also a good idea to make sure that you have not accidentally (somehow)
got a 'rogue' vncPatches in your System Folder and/or Control Panels.
