Can you do me a favour and run
netstat -a
from a command line to see if port 5800 is mentioned in the list, even
though you're using display 2 (which runs on port 5802). I ask because there
might be some other software running that's already bound to port 5800.
Failing that, perhaps you've got another firewall-type program running that
blocks that port?
