I just got VNC set up for the first time.
using win98 viewer to connect to Redhat 7.2
unfortunately i am new to linux as well as vnc
I can successfuly connect to the vnc server and work
at the command prompt, but when i startx, x starts on
the server and i get an error message:

Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_signal_disconnect_by_data(): could
not find handler containing data (0x818D7C8)

does anyone have enough sympathy to help?

Thanks,
a stranger in a strange land
