No, I mean NO X11, NO windows, NO gui at the console, just (80*25 characters) text at the console. Then start vncviewer to open a display. This vncviewer is running on unix (linux) and does not use any external X11 application, not even the X11 server.
For the nerds, it's for my headless server: - the Xvnc is configured on :0 (it replaces the default Xserver). - the -init setup as on sourcecodecorner works. - the .../clases/index.vnc page is adapted to invoke at port 5952 Unfortunatly, the machine is not as headless as expected, the operators need to see there what is happening at :0 since they want to stick to the kvm switches and I don't want to configure X11 for the sole purpose of running vncviewer, it just takes to much resources.
