INDigital's system they built with Penninsula FiberNet in Michigan is SIP, with private ethernet connectivity to PFN's switches (not public IP networks). Not sure about other states.

Is the interconnection TDM or IP? I did not see much on their site. I did see they provide services in a few States. ________________________________ From: Mike Hammett <voice...@ics-il.net> Sent: Tuesday, July 6, 2021 3:15 PM To: Rob Verk <robv...@hotmail.com> Cc: voiceops@voiceops.org <voiceops@voiceops.org> Subject: Re: [VoiceOps] interconnect directly with a PSAP? You'll It'll likely vary state-by-state. Here in Illinois, we're migrating from a traditional model to an NG911 platform by INDigital. You can only interconnect with INDigital at a few locations, none of them in-LATA. ----- Mike Hammett Intelligent Computing Solutions http://www.ics-il.com Midwest Internet Exchange http://www.midwest-ix.com ________________________________ From: "Rob Verk" <robv...@hotmail.com> To: voiceops@voiceops.org Sent: Sunday, July 4, 2021 6:01:58 PM Subject: [VoiceOps] interconnect directly with a PSAP? I have been out of the game for about 20 years and now I am back. I have a lot to catch up on but I'm hoping this listserv can help me out. I have a few questions * Is it possible to interconnect directly with a PSAP? * Is a CLEC license/agreement still required? * Is this interconnection still only offered via TDM or is IP/SIP an option? Thanks for your help. Rob _______________________________________________ VoiceOps mailing list VoiceOps@voiceops.org https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/voiceops
