Several people have e-mailed me to complain that amazon.com promises (threatens?) that the book will be shipped in one to three weeks. My publisher regretfully tells me that this is the way amazon operates with some books. If you need the book quickly (and I'm absolutely sure that you do!), go to [1]Legal Books Distributing, which says they'll ship immediately; my publisher says they're quite reliable. (Silly interface glitch: If you enter the book title in quotes, it won't find it.) If you want a personalized copy, follow the instructions [2]here. I suspect that Legal Books Distributing would also be good for other legal books that amazon takes too long to ship.
