A few weeks ago, the [1]Georgetown Supreme Court Institute had a
reception for Justice John Paul Stevens in honor of his completion of
30 Terms as a Supreme Court Justice. A crowd of Supreme Court
litigators, former JPS clerks, and others (like me) attended, and
Justice Stevens gave some gracious and amusing remarks. One tidbit
that might be of interest to VC readers was Stevens' opinion of the
best Supreme Court advocate he has seen in his 30 years at the Court.
Who do you think is the best Supreme Court advocate in the last 30
years, at least according to Justice Stevens?
