I also do so, normally, but in this case, I purchased that instrument
"from the pile", untested, as a bargain.
It's in good state, working fine, and its from 1995, inside.
ROM is Rev B, 1818-3830.
But exactly for this, I need the firmware update, which was a few years
later..
