Mine does this occasionally if I am downloading a large file that has not finished by the time next mail check goes through. IE.. if outlook is downloading mail from account [EMAIL PROTECTED] and outlook does a send and receive, it tries to login again to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and then asks for a username/password.   Internet Network Engineer Local Internet Services, Inc. (least likely) Is because the mailbox is in use ( very unlikely unless using an old vopmailweb or someone else is using it). 2. Password is incorrect (caps useally the cause)    and   3. (most likely) Vopmail has problems accessing the database.   All the above should be first tested by you (through a telnet session to port 110) and secondly, we would go to the OPERATIONS and ERROR log. Most of my users are NT and I have about 300 accounts. Once a week or so I'll get a call from a user saying that their password is no loger valid and Outlook is asking for a new pw. I reset it in User Manager and VOP and everything is fine.   This happens to random users at random times. I've checked my server for viruses and everything comes out clean.
