Anyone using bl.spamcop.net (SPAMCOP and is satisfied with their service. I tested a few ip addresses from spam I received today and they were all listed with them. Then I added +1, +2.. etc to the addresses and they were also listed. It sounds to me they have an aweful alot of blocked addresses to make me comfortable to use them.

My question is how long does an ip address stay in their list once it's reported but no longer spam being being reported after some period of time?

Not with that version no. I think multi-rbl support arrived in version 4.4 of VOPMail historically speaking.

The RBLs I've recommended to some people (based on what some users are using are as follows):

- REAL-TIME BLACKLISTS

- DNSBLs

        relays.ordb.org (blocks open relays)
        proxies.monkeys.com (blocks open proxies)
formmail.monkeys.com (blocks sites with open formmail exploits)
dynablock.wirehub.net (blocks dynamic IP blocks used by dialups)
        opm.blitzed.org (blocks open relays)
dialup.visi.com (blocks dynamic IP blocks used by dialups)
        relays.visi.com (blocks open relays)
        sbl.spamhaus.org (blocks known spammers)

- national blackholes:

        argentina.blackholes.us
        brazil.blackholes.us
        cn-kr.blackholes.us
        hongkong.blackholes.us
        malaysia.blackholes.us
        nigeria.blackholes.us
        russia.blackholes.us
        singapore.blackholes.us
        taiwan.blackholes.us
        thailand.blackholes.us

- Extreme Lists (use with extreme caution)

        relays.osirusoft.com (SPEWS)
        bl.spamcop.net (SPAMCOP)
