We actually rely heavily on a fault-tolerant NAS running RAID 5 with
redundant hard drives. This NAS is configured to store the mailboxes and
quarantine via a UNC path.

Each Modus Mail server is configured with RAID 10 (0+1) using 4 fast IDE
hard drives and hold their own mail spool.

We have a routine that runs nightly on each server which checks a few
things including the LastMessageID and performs a MailConfigBackup over
to the NAS.

Subject: [VOPmail Beta] Best Backup Solution???

* This is the vopmailbeta mailing list *

Just curious to see what others may have intituted as their backup
procedures for VOPmail. I just want to be able to do a nightly backup of
our server(s) that includes all the available mail messages.

Our company has (UNFORTUNATELY) been using BrightStor (formerly
ArcServe).
