To tell you the truth too, next time when I buy a product, I will check the quality of support both from the company and from the community. I have posted before several inquiries and got no answers..like the purpose of the rcp files. I don't think I have asked something very obscure. Vopmail is based on IMS and I think rcp files were used in IMS. Maybe I'll just subscribe to Mailsite's support avenues and learn from them since their product is based on IMS also.
Someone mentioned yesterday that Vircom grew too fast. I wonder where he got this fact from.
Vopmail has served me well but if if Vircom forces me to pay full price for the same product because I didn't buy a support plan if I need an upgrade in the future, I will move and migrate to another mail server. I know of at least 3 mail server software that have more features than Vopmail and cost less.

* This is the vopmailbeta mailing list *
Because Vircom don't want to 'improve' the product, obviously!
They would rather we all send them a cheque every year and ask for nothing in return.
No information, no direction, no company comment.
My next guess is they will increase the support/upgrade fees being paid in the vain hope of product improvement taking place. They will try to extract the same money from an ever decreasing pool of victims.
Eventually people will realise the folly of paying for the promise of upgrades but not receiving them.
Vircom do read these lists so they are well aware of what is being discussed.
It is time those among you stopped remembering the 'good times' and realised Vircom is not the same company you purchased product from years ago.
They just don't care.
