Hello, The mail servers were not going to be "plain" full-featured mail servers, but I had to develop a solution based on SQL and the .MSG files for a webmail service (plus a mail server for my company), using the least SMTP/IMAP/POP connections I could to minimize the CPU load of the mail servers to make this solution very scalable. I chose Vop instead of qmail at this time because it can use SQL Server (thru ODBC) to store accounts and our website uses (heavily) this database server. It could have been another server using ODBC, but I found Vop was a great software at a reasonable price and I built the system on it. It would have been different and much longer with qmail under linux I guess, since I know much better how to develop under Windows...
