Subject: [VOPmail Beta] VOP Mail as a backup mail server

We do this all the time

if the vop server is lower in priority ie  mx=30, where the primary is mx=20, then just add the domain to "accept relay for these domains" vop will hold the mail until the primary comes back on line and deliver the mail

The primary will be retried per the delivery schedule

Subject: [VOPmail Beta] VOP Mail as a backup mail server

I have a situation where one domain on a server running VOP Mail is acting as a backup mail server.  There is a second MX record setup so that when the primary mail server goes down, mail is routed to the VOP Mail server.

Is there anyway to have the VOP Mail server push mail back to the primary server when it comes back up, or do we have to setup the primary mail server to pull the mail using ETRN when it comes back up?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Sincerely,
Matt Schwartz
