Agreed. A product is better than no product.

Although the Linux challenge is ever present and
these products need to represent value for money
and with *poor* upgrade support you lose the only
reason to avoid Open Source solutions.

I like my Vopmail even though it doesn't do half
as much as Postfix, Qpopper, IMAP, slapd and
Spamasssasin which run on my Linux servers and
need attention - well, never!

I moved from software.com's post.office product
to vopmail because Vircom promised to be there
and be responsive - that was the attraction to
vopmail.

The honeymoon is over and they are no better than
any of the other companies (commercial software)
that I deal with although that is certainly not
an endorsment I would be proud of.

They have lost the "EDGE"
