Do the folks at vircom that are reading this have any suggestions? How
about some comments about when the feature would/could be included?

Subject: [VOPRadius] assisting the fight against lost stop records

Brian,

It's not possible to do that. It's a feature I've requested long ago but
was not implemented.

The only two solutions are using SNMP to read from your NAS and update
online users or use watchdog packets (also known as "alive packets") from
the NAS to inform the server that the user is still there.

Note that on both cases no Stop packet will be generated, thus, there will
be no Stop record on your logs. It will only prevent the user from eating
one of your license counts or being rejected for being online.
