I fought a battle with the "Default" profile back a couple of years ago
and experienced the same types of problems. Come to find out, a profile
named "Default" has special meaning in VOP Radius and some of it's
attributes don't seem to be overridden with other profiles
I changed my billing package naming and the profile from "Default" to
"Dialup" and then everything seemed to work correctly. Yves can lend
you details on the specifics on the "Default" profile's weird
functionality.

I have a DEFAULT in profiles which sets all the session timeouts and
such.
But I have a handful of users that need to have a different attribute
than
what's in the DEFAULT profile.
The manual says a defined profile should override any DEFAULT settings.
I'm
actually changing two attributes and the first is changing but the
second is
not. If anyone else has encountered this obstacle I'd appreciate some
input.
