In particular, there are church paintings, very carefully done, depicting objects in the sky that we would recognize as UFOs. The paitnings are executed in the 1400-1600 time period. One of these, "Glorification of the Eucharist" painted by Salibeni in 1595, clearly depicts God and Jesus holding what we would recognize as antennae attached to a large, blue, Sputnik-like sphere with a protruberance which may be a camera. Details of the attachement to the sphere are shown. This is a drastic anachronism for the time, for nothing like it belongs to Earth technology of the period. It is hard to dismiss all of these as figments of imagination, especially this one which clearly looks manufactured. The image is physical.
