This is just an educated guess on my part but it would seem from what little I 
recall from my chemistry lessons of yesteryear that it would be impossible for 
hydrinos to form covalent bonds with other atoms. The very attempt to form a 
covalent bond with another atom, like oxigen, I would think, would essentially 
destroy the hydrino's n state - specifically the orbital "ground state" shell 
of the electron. Of course, I could be all wrong on this point.

Hydrinos and Ionic Bonds, on the other hand... Isn't it theorized that a free 
electron can assume the normal ground state orbital shell belonging to a 
hydrino and as such cause the atom to have a negative charge? This would 
essentially make a "stable" hydrogen atom with a negative charge. Isn't it 
through the advantages of ionic bonding that Mills theorizes it might be 
possible to produce special hydrino hydride batteries with the potential of 
storing ten times more power more than current generation sold in the market?
