In fact, the IDEAS grant category does not close until Fall of 2016 and it is the very first category in which LENR was regarded as an acceptable research topic. It is current, as of now. What may seem old and dated - to anyone who follows cutting edge R&D could in fact be regarded as a current event for the big funders. This RFP could not be more current.
