I agree with the additional information about the angular momentum
associated with a single photon. Also suggested is the idea that electrons
make up nuclei and their constituent particles, neutrons and protons.
If you have not reviewed P. Hatt's theory of the "structure" of protons and
neutrons as being made up of electrons and positrons, it may be of interest
to you. His predictions of physical properties of the neutron and proton
are quite accurately derived and correspond to existing experimental
measurements.
Do you also consider that charge comes in discrete quanta no smaller than
the electron's charge? The question is whether the fractional charge that
is associated with some quarks actually exists as a separate entity in
nature?

I would note that the total angular momentum of a system includes its
electron orbital angular momentum and the intrinsic angular momentum of the
electrons and the particles that make up a the nuclei of the system. The
total angular momentum can only change in discrete small quanta of h/2pi
which means that each component, the orbital and the intrinsic angular
momentum can only change in increments of h/2pi.
This is because h/2pi is the angular momentum of a photon, which is either
absorbed or emitted, and conservation of angular momentum requires that the
sum
of the angular momentum of the system and that of the photon remain
constant.
