gauge wire coil tuned into 60 hz resonance by reactance cancellations in series
resonance will be a solid discharge; however once the grounded scope is used to
show inductive effects around the discharge this causes the discharge itself to
form globes from the ends inwards until they fill the entire tube. Upon
disconnection of the 25 ft elevated capacity shown at

These causes to change the effects shown on the argon plasma discharge are not
simultaneous but gradual. This leads credence to the idea that the ball
discharges have a degree of self organization beyond the influences that caused
their formation. Here simply powering down the scope from the on /off switch
does change the shape of the ball discharge, but does not discount the
influence of the inductor still connected via the three prong (ground) plug
used on the scope. Here the entire measuring probe is disconnected from the
scope to show the gradual formation of the argon discharge visible as a
continuous stream, still leaving remnants of the "remembered" ball discharge
