half a gallon of the 60 percent blue bottle of green yellow black algaecide with clarifier, enough of acid or base to bring to normative, and enough chlorine shock to bring your ppm up to 4. then, brush the dead algae every couple of hours, vaccuum, and backwash. easy peasey lemon squeezy.

I don't have a problem until late July or August. At that time, the acid rain falls. If you miss adjusting the total alkalinity just one day, you have an algae bloom. You ever have an algae bloom?
