Yes. In 1990 it was 17,753 thousand barrels per day, in May 2006 it was 20,532, and now it is 20,747. See:

As of 2005, U.S. domestic production fell from the peak of 10,581 to 6,830, and imports rose to 13,527 thousand barrels per day. That's 13,527,000 * $63 per day. That's $852 million per day sent to Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran and several other countries that -- to be blunt -- hate our guts and want to destroy us. Over the past 20 years the federal government has not lifted a finger to reduce consumption. You have to wonder what the national leaders are thinking.
