Jones sez: ...
Lots of photons can be emitted in a few seconds of 'buildup time'. If this stored 'light' (i.e. accumulated volume of coherent photons) which has been slowed (or compressed) by a factor of nearly twenty million to one, is suddenly allowed to instantly regain its natural acceleration, that could be quite a flash bulb, no?
... Intriguing speculation. However, C slowed nearly twenty million to one might also translate to an accordingly slower absorption rate. Ergo, no real buildup. My 1.893 cents. At this inflation rate, I better not finish last! Regards, Steven Vincent Johnson www.OrionWorks.com
