Awkshully, this one makes some sense. Time will tell.
It is tough for a dedicated punster not to have a go with this one. I am
hoping that Terry does not jump-in with something like 'loose stool' wrt
page 24.
I seem to recall the Mark Goldes brought this prototype to our
attention several months ago. However, the current PDF file seems to
include additional diagrams, or perhaps my memory is playing tricks on
me.
If memory serves me the speculation was that that there may be behind
the scenes maneuvering going on in China, some of that maneuvering
having to do with valiant attempts (by the "Ho" group) to go public
so-to-speak, which what they've got - to keep the project from being
completely shut down by the administration / government, etc... I
gather the prevailing opinion is that the "Ho" device could not
possibly work, therefore it is in danger of being completely
abandoned.
At least that's my memory of the speculated events.
