This rambling proto-meme is all a setup for an even more off-topic excursion
(in the near future) into the function, and possible value, of an enhanced
idea-exchange vehicle; made possible by the www but taken to the next
stage... which basic tool (the Internet) can be identified as an one more
"emergent instrument" of the information-god.
One such idea-exchange vehicle, which can be improved-on, is of course the
specialized one (on the fringe of science) which you are reading. Because it
does not conform, it may the most - or least - valuable of any such
vehicle... to the degree that it can influence emergent thinking in ways
which the mainstream (i.e. science, devoid of creativity - i.e. art)
neglects - at least in the field of alternative energy.
Howdy Jones,
Aha! a Jones moment for a Sunday morning mental stretching exercise. <
grin>. Try to Imagine ole Pilate perplexed by Jesus stating " I am the
truth" to which Pilate quipped.. ' what is truth"... which in turn had led
mankind to consider that some wouldn't know the truth if it was staring them
in the face much less biting them in the britches.
Hope Steve Krivit, editor of New Energy Times grasps the fundamentals of
this post regarding what marvelous directions the internet may point the
imaginative scientist toward....should... of course.. the web remain intact.
Mad scientists that would make a Frankenstein story sound naive are busy in
the D.C. laboratory of politics busily stirring up a witches brew with
absolute certainty they have the formula for Camelot, Utopia and a real ,
not imaginary Dime Box saloon.
One of their first orders of business, once the brew steeps suitable for
sippin' ...is to "control" the internet.
