I have noticed a disturbing trend in some of the recent hyperlinks to
LENR-CANR.org. Some speculators have been promoting palladium because
they think cold fusion is real. Some of them have pointed to
LENR-CANR as proof. If they would read the papers they would see that
cold fusion has been demonstrated with other metals.

I thought about responding with a cautionary note. But I do not want
to bother to register, and I do not want to lend any credibility to
these disreputable discussions.
Actually, the sad truth is that these people are right and if it
becomes generally known that cold fusion is real, I expect palladium
futures will go through the roof, as ignorant fools try to cash in on
it. In the long-term, I expect cold fusion will be performed with
other metals, and since the main use of palladium now is for
catalytic converters which will no longer be needed with cold fusion,
in the long-term palladium will be cheaper.
