An engine of this type is just something worth doing a design study on. Work
has been done on various segments of such a combo but nobody to my knowledge
has ever put the different themes together. Pistonless diesel engines use an
aspirating 2 cycle configuration. add an exhaust gas focusing on separate
turbine blades and you have a combo.
Designing a 5 foot diameter wheel with the 2 cycle cavities on the outer
ring provides an amazing torque as evidenced by the new rotor helicopters
that have gas turbines located on the tip of the rotor. Compression for the
pistonless cavities that "diesel" in sequence is achieved inside the inner
ring where the leverage works for the process. Lot of amazing designing
taking place on versions of ICE diesel turbine themes across the world..

diameter pancake combo engine of this type could have an energy conversion
xxxx times that of any diesel or gas turbine engine.
Do you know where I can purchase such an engine, or does it need to be
developed?
