Someone sent me a spam-like ad for Executive Engineering Atomic Batteries, linking to this web page:

http://www.exec-eng.com/eenag/battery-technology.htm

It is somewhat unprofessional. It begins by saying:

"The day of using OIL GAS and COAL ... is over!
CLEAN CHEEP energy is at hand for you"

I advised them how to spell "cheap" so this may be corrected now.

Following this is an obscure set of dubious claims, such as ~85% conversion efficiency "depending on isotopes used." Quote: "Fuel for the NAG is plentiful and, since it actually consumes nuclear waste, it creates no additional nuclear waste problems. Direct Energy Conversion From Nuclear Waste." I don't see any mention of what waste they have in mind, and I doubt that nuclear waste is "safe" for consumer use.

This looks a lot like fraud. Perhaps it isn't; I could not judge without an extensive investigation, but it gives that impression. That is either a pity (if it really is legitimate), or it is a public service (if it is fraud).

There have been several claims for such nuclear batteries over the years.
