For some reason which I cannot quite verbalize yet, there is added insight to be had by considering this paper in the context of Horace Heffner's ideas of "virtual photons" (the messenger graviton) being the mediator of gravity. More on that later.

My idea there is that an isomorphism between mathematical models of gravity and EM exists. The correspondence of elements of the models includes the correspondence of virtual photons to gravitons, and also graviphotons to photons, etc. This is not to say that gravitons *are* virtual photons. Quite the contrary. These are physically differing entities, having differing physical units. Gravitons can even be thought of as existing in differing dimensions, because they mediate a field having the imaginary number i = (-1)^(1/2) in its units, in the above theory. In fact, such extra dimensions are essential to developing quantum general relativity. Gravitons and graviphotons exist in separate sets having operators and relations that preserve a 1-1 correspondence under the isomorphism. In this manner, every valid expression in one model has an equivalent in the other. It is important to note that invalid or incomplete formulas, like E = m c^2 for example, do not necessarily have valid counterparts in the two models, or in a unified theory of everything.
