The guy in the lecture makes Brown's gas sound simple and easy. The extreme 
heat is via a combustion between the gas and the solid , supposedly the harder 
the solid, the higher the heat produced.

Lets see, If I wanted to build a type heater like an infrared radiant heater 
similar to a propane and ceramic element type.. what would I use in lieu of 
ceramic since , like firebrick , it tends to incinerate into powder?
