Ed ........................ The efficiency of thermo generators is limited by the laws of thermodynamics. If you have a temperature drop of about 100 degrees the efficiency is only a few percent. Is the stimulation is a basic part of the process or side bar of the NDE. This is subject to rational thought. I (like Jed) am a humanist and believe in rational thought. If energy cascaded from the nucleus to the lattice there would be a huge irreversibility. The process is reversible. The more heat the more energy that is produced. The reversible nature of the process indicates that the source of the heat has the about the same entropy as the heat that is detected. The thermal stimulation, laser stimulation, and shock are a basic part of the nuclear process. The process involves energies at the transmutation of lead and thermal energy (mega and fractions of an ev) . What couples these energies? Should there not be another accessible energy? Laser and thermal stimulation have a low quantity factor. Most of the energy is scattered across the black body spectrum. RF stimulation can have a very high Q at a specific frequency. I have tried this, however, I was not able to obtain the required loading. I do believe that cold fusion has tremendous potential at high Q's in the RF range. The RF energy that would be produced is of high value. No conversion to thermal energy is required. I have been saying this for years. The result springs from my theoretical construct. No one has produced results in this area Perhaps I am dead wrong. I really believe this for a number of reasons. My megahertz meter constant has produced the energy levels of the atom, the energy of a photon and the probability of atomic decay. This work stands on its own apart from the process of cold fusion.
