We have unit 3 & 4 nuke plant starting construction soon at Bay City Texas.. part of the South Texas project. They are having their share of the problems using a Jap design .. plus the environmental problems to overcome. The problem with Nukes are... They can operate some 40-50 years and reach a point when the metal crystallizes and become unsafe. There can be no repairs because nobody can work to make piping and equipment replacements under such high radiation conditions so.... They encase the whole plant in a concrete coffin like Chernobyl for 250,000 years.. That fact never gets mentioned Richard
