I have a Very Dumb Question here. Is there a simple, concise explanation of why a hydrogen atom can't spontaneously collapse to a hydrino, by radiating away the transition energy as a photon? I.e., why is a collision with a catalyst necessary? If the only simple answer is "Don't be so lazy, Read The Book", well, whatever ... but I'm hoping it's possible for someone here to give an approximate summary of the reason in a few sentences.
