Many supporters of the Mills theory feel that Mizuno's recent results lend credence to the theory. You suggested this as well. I do not know enough about theory to comment, but I suggested that they bring the paper to the attention of Mills himself.

Some of them asked me to ask Mizuno to send them a sample of the apparent C-13, for an independent analysis that will bolster the Mills theory (or not). Two of them, Jones Beene and Brian Ahern, sent me the attached message. I translated the gist of it and sent it to Mizuno last night.

I told Jones that I have no idea whether Mizuno still has any of the C-13 material left over but I would pass on the message.

Brian Ahern <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and Gene Mallove used to work together. I think Ahearn has some position or he used to work at Lincoln labs, at MIT.

Jed,

One experts who is very interested in this new Mizuno experiment is Brian Ahern in Boston.

We spoke about it for an extended time today, and he is keenly interested, has lots of experience with this kind of isotope testing, and is open minded - but thinks that there could be a mundane explanation.

With his MIT contacts, he might be able to have the work done over there, but this was never discussed.

However, I will copy this post to him - with the mention of the possibility that you will be asking Mizuno if a sample of the residue is available for testing in the USA.

If so, this could really be a significant step forward - as this kind of massive isotope shift is so unexpected, even shocking, and so very meaningful if validated - to skeptics who have so far been convinced by nothing less.

rgds,

Jones
