At change.gov, when one person signs in and recommends a posting, it goes up
by 10 points. When you vote against it, it goes down 10. (I do not
understand why they did not use 1 point per vote.)

Once you recommend a posting, you cannot recommend it again.

My cold fusion message is now at 50, meaning that at least 5 people
recommended it. It could be that some number of people voted it down, but 5
more than that voted it up. There is another message advocating fusion that
has been voted down into a negative rating.

I went through all of the Energy-related postings at change.gov, listed by
popularity from the highest to the lowest number of votes, down to messages
with only 20 points (2 votes). There are hundreds. There is a long tail of
message with 100 to 200 points. So, to push cold fusion into visibility, we
need at least 10 more people and preferably 20 to vote for it, bringing it
up to over 200. That is assuming we do not get a bunch of skeptics coming in
to vote against it.

If you wish to add your own cold fusion proposal, I suggest you let everyone
know here so that we can vote for it, and I also suggest you vote for mine.
