IMO the problem isn't that people have a death wish, but rather that they have so little imagination that they don't understand/believe what's going to happen, until it does, and even if they do believe it, they think it will happen to someone else, not to them. Some are so stupid, they don't even understand it when it's happening to them. A few individuals do have vision (many on this list), but they have the devil's own job trying to convince the rest.
