8. Republicans...now I turn to you. Why are so many of you HOPING Obama et al trash the place? Wouldn't it make sense to hope that, despite what it looks like so far, they do something that helps PEOPLE, and not highminders (on both sides) and stupid causes? WE don't hope he trashes the place, we just hope he fails to turn this nation into a socialist or communist state! He says he wants to restore US prosperity. When he starts doing things that will accomplish that I will voice my support. Pelosi continues to fly her corporate jet back and forth across the country, but it is deemed a crime for corporate big wigs to fly theirs. There is a large industry surrounding the use of corporate jets from manufacturing to maintenance, employing thousands of people. If this industry is destimulated by scaring the rich people (other than powerful democrats) into parking all of their jets, then all of these employees will lose their jobs. This country is about to turn into something that most vortex contributors won't like. The only stimulus that can work fast enough to stop the downward spiral are tax breaks for everyone including the rich. Real jobs are created by wealthy people. No poor person ever hires an employee. Real employees produce. Government make work projects produce little. Welfare recipients, including those living on unemployment benefits consume while producing nothing. When the deflation phase of this developing crisis is complete we will move into a period of severe shortages in all areas including food. This could get really ugly. The only thing this government will do other than misspend funds they do not have, is to raise taxes and print money. God bless all of us. We will really need it. Jeff P.S. I am not wealthy.
