Actually you would need to use a remote non-conductive balance beam, or
something similar like rope pulleys - since any electrical conductor in the
scale itself would be affected by the field, and would alter the reading --
but the simplicity of doing this experiment, and the fact he has not done it
- would seem to indicate something?
