Better use some care in calling it suppression, since in a debate the obvious countermove is to expose you as a crackpot by labeling you as a "conspiracy theorist." Only conspiracy theorists make the mistake of complaining about suppression. Suppression is common in science, but professional scientists have learned never to use that word. Thinking in terms of herd-mentality, perhaps any use of the word "Suppression" is a signal that allows the herd to identify and eject any disguised outsiders hiding within the herd membership. Speak the word "suppression" and the immune system of science builds a protective wall around you.
