However there may be more "mundane" causes of positive feedback. E.g. situations where ionizing radiation increases the fuel available to a fusion reaction, which in turn produces ionizing radiation. I can think of at least two scenarios where that may be the case. The H bomb is a case in point (T bred from Li).
