Actually I prefer things this way. I wouldn't want LENR-CANR.org to
be associated with Wikipedia. That would be like pasting an
advertisement on a porta-potty.
Such advertisements can be effective. You might enjoy Wikipedia
Review, Jed. About half the editors -- or former editors -- who write
there write like that. But it isn't just a bunch of complainers. Some
very experienced and still active editors write there, including at
least one sitting arbitrator.
I won't be banned from meta, which is where the lenr-canr global
blacklisting is maintained. I may have already done enough to go
there and ask for delisting. The blackisting affects all wikimedia
projects all over the world. The ostensible reason for blacklisting
at meta, in the first place, was a complaint, supposedly, by an
Italian editor. ArbComm decided not to allow blacklistings like
yours, but they have no authority over meta, a world of its own. Much
smaller community.
