You may be interested to know such people are now being called "cell refuseniks" or just "refuseniks", but not to be confused with protestors or people who wanted to leave Russia. My wife and I were surprised to find we now have this new label, as we are both steadfast refuseniks. We just blame it on being old, and people seem to understand that, though it is equally because we are extremely cheap, but people never seem to be understanding about that. 8^) It seems to me a strange world where you have to explain why you don't have a cell phone. I think some people take offense because they assume you just don't want them to have it.
