If it turns out to actually be consuming vegetable oil, then you can start
immediately selling them for use in vehicles or home generators. Later
on, (after it's far too late for hostile debunkers to kill the idea,) we
might find that it burns too little oil while producing too much
mechanical energy.
Robert Heinlein used this same plot device in his short called "Brown
Shoe," where the main character invented a FE magnet motor, yet managed to
sell it by incoprorating it in normal motors for his father's conveyor
belt company. (Sell conventional-seeming commercial products which are
cheaper to operate than all your competitors' products.)
