I don't think all forms of cavitation occur on the surface of the metal.
Indeed, we had a poster here who make a cavitation heater with a plastic
rotor.  It melted.  He made another with metal.

Who was that guy?  He was also written up in one of the early Infinite
Energy mags.

 

 

"Knuke" -- Michael Huffman - last I heard he was living in Budapest or
somewhere like that. he had a website called "cavitation college"
