Investors are screened carefully. Only those who can afford to lose the money are allowed to invest. Disclaimers are everywhere in the paperwork saying that this is a highly speculative investment with no guarantee that anything will ever come of it; but, if it does, the potential gains are huge. Indeed it usually starts with one investor who is a believer who "lets his friends in" on the deal. These millionaires all stick together kinda like Shoulders' EVO. But, that is another thread.
