There are some experiments where it's only practical to do one or
two runs. Because, however, CF tends to be chaotically reproducible,
for a report to be truly meaningful, there should be a run of
experiments that are (hopefully) identical, and all the results
should be reported.
Yes. It is ironic that Sarto et al. have compiled what is probably
the world's largest database about cold fusion cathode properties and
performance, yet this report describes only a few results. I doubt
that it has ever crossed their minds to put the entire database on
line. That is what they should do, since the Italian taxpayers are
footing the bill for this research. I think that research paid for by
taxes should be in the public domain, on the web, except for things
related to national security, privacy or what-have-you.
1000% sounds great, but what if this was one or two cells in a
series of, say 64 cells?
They have tested a lot more than 64 cathodes, I think.
