Thanks for the clearer wording, but the "skeleton" is probably my old posts
to vortex, and in any event my ultimate source is/was the same as yours Abd,
the 75 year old paper. It's not like this is anything new and earth-shaking
- simply ignored.

Good point and I have attempted to show the mechanics of this more clearly
in the newest iteration.

You mean for LENR in general ? not the beta decay, correct? There is no
helium from beta decay.

I have a gut feeling that the beta decay can lead to D+D fusion by supplying
the excess energy somehow, but that is too large a jump to handle at this
point in time.
